A little bit about us...
Hello, my name is Sophie, I'm the owner of Sophie's Swim School (clue is in the name)! I have been swim teaching since I was 16... I decided to gain my teaching qualification after competitively swimming through my early teens. I took my first swimming lesson as late as 13! However, these late-set lessons helped me to understand what method of teaching worked best for me and drove me to encourage people to take lessons at any age, it's never too late!
Adult lessons
Learning to swim as an adult can be daunting, but you aren't alone. Did you know 1/5 adults in the UK can't swim!

Stage swimming (4 years+)
Stage lessons involve termly badge assessments, to determine how much each swimmer has progressed. Certificates are awarded to swimmers who make termly progress, a good incentive for nervous swimmers who need a little motivation!

Pre-school lessons
Parenthood is challenging, whether this is your first time or you're an expert! We offer parent & child bonding and confidence classes in the water, as well as pre-school sessions for little ones who are allll..most ready for stage classes!
